A Childs Concept of Time…

Six months before I rejoined in this home I came for a visit around Christmas of 2005 and Jessica (having then just turned 5) was all sweet and friendly and was very insistent on marrying me when she grew up.

Well the other day while taking care of the kids I heard Jessica telling one of the kids she was “going to marry so-and-so!” I interjected, “Jessica, I thought you were going to marry me.” “You’re too old for me!” she replied. “You’ll grow up, and then I won't be too old.” I said. She replied, “By then you’ll be dead!”

Wahahaha! Oh that is too cute! A childs concept of time or the fickleness of women.

Well, I won't get into the fickleness of women here on my blog. Tha might be tackled better by a woman...

Oh my, I forgot all the quippy things I was going to say about this post... but that's probably good!

Jessica sounds like a smart little girl. She is very, very smart! Don't you go marrying someone who's gonna keel over and die... and don't you be duped into taking the hand of one who promises things for the future. By then you'll be an old maid and he, well, he'll just be dead, won't he?

So you have something to say about the 'fickleness of women'. That would be interesting to hear sometime.
