Thursday Thought – A question for you!

What do you do when the only person who can make you stop crying is the person who made you cry?

You put them in the Lords hands and trust that it will all work out in the end for good.

That is never the case for us who have Jesus...but either way I think my answer would be:
You cry until your tears run out, (and believe me, one day they do) and then you'll have to stop crying because you'll have no more tears. After that, once your eyes regain their vision and see things clearer through the tears, you go on with life, even if it means crying again and repeating the process. Usually, this is the ONLY option...

You make the choice to stop. Just like you made the choice to cry.

You thank them for being such a good friend!

you just cry a little more, then love a lot more, by forgiving.

Throw a vase, sharpen your teeth and attack. Or grab a broom and kick that person right out of the room. (shoo shoo little kittens, out you go!)

Kidding! Just trying to counterbalance all the good advice.

Yeh that's right, kick them right out of your mind ;)

I like your choice of picture Gabe...
And to answer your question, I would pray for enough love to finish my tears and the desire to keep on loving despite the pain...

You close your eyes and breathe the name of the only person who can stop your crying forever. Then you use all your determination and willpower to stop crying and continue loving with a soft heart.

"Tears are a crystallized emotion, each drop a piece of sadness, each trickle a line of pain. A tear can express more than words could ever dare. A tear, an undeniable call for help. A confession without words. A tear is a gentle healer. A soothing form of sympathy, an expression of the heart, a million questions asked at once.
We are not human unless we shed tears. We have no soul, no feeling... until we have learned to weep."

The person who made you cry; in all probability cannot stop those tears.
Cry, it is the hearts why of healing. The tears eventually end & if you stay close to Jesus through the time of tears your heart is cleaned & soften by our Lover's gentle, but firm hands. Talking from first hand experience here! Love u

hm, well just cry till you cry no more. there always comes a point when it stops. and its good, cause, tears being the expression of what you cant express, once you get it all out, and trust the lord, there really is a point when you just dont cry anymore.
i know.
so ..just cry.
till the last golden leave has fallen,
and the last silver tear is shed,
and after that; no more.
