Salt and Pepper Season?

Yesterday I was talking to a friend and they have this theory that it's "salt and pepper mating season." They base this on all the mixed colored (white with anything darker) relationships that have sprung up recently. So I am curious if it's happening in your area also or if it's isolated to this field?

No, not in this area, but then we don't have many chocolate men in this area. :(

Interesting. I really haven't seen many mixes, but I've heard that short little latins are da bomb in EE countries. It's SCIEEENCEEE: opposites attract.

I don't know if I could comment for around the world, but Brasil is a very mixed country with quite a few races, both in and out of the family, so I see these kind of couples everywhere. I don't think it's a trend, but they do make nice babies....

Hmmm...I second Florecita, opposites attract and I rather like the tall/dark/handsome features. - Especially after all the yummy looking chocolate men I saw/met in Cuba, a mix definitely sounds attractive. :P

Ali,
Your kids mixed well. But being that Nate is the mix seems to me your kids are coming out more on the ivory side.

Just Blowing By,
I will pray you get some chocolate!

Florecita,
Hmmm...Interesting!

Wild flower,
Yeah I hear Brazil is like that! What are you? Light brown...maybe?

Whacky,
When you do start mixing be sure you post about it so that we can put that theory to the test.

CurlyCel,
Wouldn’t opposite for you be, short dark and ugly?
