Beer and Butter Recipe

Okay so tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I am going to post a recipe here for anyone who wants to use it for their turkey or whatever kind of poultry you want to try it on. Some have claimed it to be "the best poultry marinade ever!"

Beer and Butter Poultry Injection

Use this marinade to reach deep into the meat of poultry, especially turkey to deliver loads of flavor before you cook. Make sure the mixture is warm to keep the butter liquid.

Ingredients:
½ pound butter
½ can beer
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 tablespoons Tabasco
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder

Preparation:

Combine all the ingredients in a sauce pan over low heat. Stir and heat until salt is dissolved and the sauce is even and runny. Keep warm (but not hot) to inject into poultry.

Thanks Trust for the recipe and being so kind to have us for Thanksgiving.

Sounds good! I'm not an experienced USA "Thanksgiving dinner" cook so can you explain what "inject" actually means? It sounds rather clinical & like I'm supposed to have some kind of giant "turkey syringe" laying around in my kitchen supplies. Wish you'd throw us a few foodie pics every once in awhile. XX
